How points work
Each round has a new list of 4 to 10 items. Complete your list and stay within the budget. The items on your list earn up to 720 points in total. Completing the whole list adds 200 points. Getting close to the budget adds up to 80 more points. Optional items count towards your spending, but do not earn shopping-list points. Maximum: 1,000.
You can visit the till any time. If you are over budget, no points are awarded yet: return to the shop, pick a smaller pack or put something back. You can check as often as you like. Scores are for this trolley, and are not added together.
Small costs half the medium price. Large costs twice the medium price. All prices are made up for practice. In real shops, check the label: pack sizes do not always follow this rule.
There is no timer. In real life, keeping money left over is useful too.
